About Julie Jenson Bennett
Writer, turned interaction designer, turned business manager, turned innovation and product design consultant.
I spent twelve years at Intel in Portland, Oregon. In 2005, I spurned the digital for the physical and joined UK product design consultancy, PDD as Head of Research and Human Sciences. In 2008, I helped co-found a new product design capability at 1HQ to explore the cross-over points between the things companies sell and the ways they sell them.
2010 found me striking out and working on a book on how business and design can use semiotics and associated cultural dark arts to make radical innovation of meaning in the market.
But while I love writing, I love doing even more. I am now launching a product design consultancy called Precipice to bring these new principles of meaning-centred design to the market.
